Instant Pot Meatloaf

Instant Pot Meatloaf


2lb ground beef
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 onion diced
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste

mix well, with your hands of course :)


spray a 6inch bundt with PAM and press meatloaf mixture into pan




Cover with aluminum foil and puncture a hole in the middle to allow steam through



Place the trivet in the bottom of your Instant Pot and add 2 cups of water



Place the covered bundt pan into the Instant Pot on the trivet



Put the lid on the Instant Pot and turn the valve to sealing. Select MANUAL and 35 minutes. This will take about 10 minutes to come to pressure before it starts counting down.



Once finished allow the Instant Pot to Naturally release the pressure, about 15 minutes. 
Remove the bundt pan and uncover.



 There will be a small amount of grease in the pan, just like when cooked in the oven. Drain into a heat safe container. Then invert bundt pan on to a foil covered cookie sheet.  I had a little bit of trouble...but I put it back together.


Cover with topping of your choice. Our family prefers a LOT of ketchup.


Put into the oven for about 5 mins on 350 degrees. 

Remove from the oven and slice and enjoy!

So...My wonderful husband questioned was this actually quicker than cooking it in the oven. No not really. But I was able to put it in the Instant Pot and step away and tend to other things.
